Beijing Immersion Trip- Food.

Alright, I know I've been back for one week,
and yet I hadn't blogged at all.
Cause I'm trying to catch up in school.

AND, because there's too much photos to post,
I'll seperate them and blog on different days.
Today I'll just post up the photos of the food over there. :D

This is our welcome lunch.
and after I took this photo, MORE food came up.
I mean really ALOT MORE, the table wasn't enough for the food,
and we didn't finish a single dish. -.-

This is their Macdonalds.

See the pig there, yes, a pork burger. :D
Wasn't very nice tho. The veggie weren't as fresh as Singapore's one.

Had korean food too.
Guess what, this BIG bowl of rice, kimchi and a drink is only SGD 5dollars. :D
And it's VERY VERY VERY NICE. :DDD

Had the most famous Peking Duck over there.
It was superb. :D REALLY nice.

They had this porridge restaurant near the university.
It was good and cheap. Only SGD 5dollars per person like this. :D

Because it's good and cheap, we went back again. :D

They have Chinese fastfood too.
Same thing, one set with main course, salad and a drink cost only SGD 5dollars.

Another Chinese fastfood.
I had their Beef Noodles, REALLY REALLY GOOD.

Went to eat their 'homecooked food'.
It's like Singapore's Zhi Char lor.
Again SGD 5dollars per person,
which includes Stir-fried mutton, a big bowl of soup, Mapo Tofu and Dumplings.
We couldn't finish the food again. -.-

The first time we went there, some of them tried their Horfun and said it was nice.
So we went there again. One plate of Horfun is around SGD 2dollars.
I totally can't finish it. Only ate half of it.
But it's good.

This Beef Noodle restaurant is just beside the Zhi Char restaurant.
Cost around SGD $2.50.
Serving was so big that the guys couldn't finish it.
But I manage to, don't ask me why. Most probably it tasted not bad.

This Cafe is just right beside the hotel's lobby.
Had Black Pepper Chicken Rice and a cup of Hot Chocolate cause it was very cold that day.
It even rained, that's why we stayed inside the hotel and had our dinner.
Their food was so-so, but their drinks are the best. :D
Love their Latte and Hot Chocolate. :D

Wondering what I ate?
That's a stick of 4 small scorpions.
yes, you didn't see it wrongly.
It's SCORPIONS.
alright, I think you're getting grossed out.
Inititally I didn't dare to eat it, but I decided to have a go.
Stared very long at the scorpion and pop-ed it into my mouth.
And it's very nice and crunchy. :D
Tasted like soft shelled crab. xD

Me, Hui Yi, Justin, Nicholas, Melvin, Simon, Bryan.
The clique I always hang out with in Beijing.
They're really nice people. :)

P.S. Just in case you guys think that I'm crazy for thinking that SGD 5dollars food as VERY cheap,
let me tell you that their serving is really very big.
I couldn't finish most of my meals.
And I think the price is really worth for its quantity and quality. :D

Fly Away

yo people, one last post before going to Beijing.
A few more hours to go~
checking in at 11pm and flying off at 1am+.

I'm rather excited and yet anxious/nervous.

ZZZ

AHHHHH!

Went for the briefing session for Beijing Immersion Trip.
I was like a loner man'. -.-
I only talked to a girl for awhile, and she was the one who approached me. LOL.
the briefing was supposed to be from 2pm to 3pm.
But it dragged to 4pm.
So I was late meeting Cheryl, Yanchin and Junhao for around 1hr. ><

Went to eat Ramen at Japanese Food street. :D
YAY-ness. :DDD
Then I went to the cash deposit to deposit money for school fees.
And the machine ate my money up. AH ZZZ.
Went into the bank itself, and they say the money will be in by 2days,
or else I have to call.
Hopefully it will be in by Friday. zzz. T^T

Tomorrow morning I'm gonna go back to SP to apply for LOA,
then evening go back again for briefing for parents. zzz. -.-

I have to start packing my luggage already. :D

Excited to climb the Great Wall of China. :D

Shopping.

WOOO, 95% satisfied from shopping. :D
I'll tell you where the the other 5% goes to later.

Met up with yanchin and junhao at JE platform.
Lets just jump to my harvest today. xD

Went to Far East Plaza and bought this:

White tank top with buttons.

Walk to Ochard ION, and bought these:

Denim Leggings from UNIQLO. $29.90

Pink Hooded Sweater from FOX. $39.90

and yeaaaa, the 5% that i wasn't satisfied about was because,
i look nice in pink. -.-
Pink is like my most hated colour,
and yet yanchin and junhao said I look better in this pink one rather than the black one.
And I kind of feel the same way too. zzzzzz.

But well overall, satisfied and happy today. ;D
Ready for Beijing this Sunday. :DD

YO HOHOHO! :D
went out with LORRENE and YANLIN yesterday. :D
veh longggg never see lorrene le.
we see each other only we hug. HAHAHA.
and the first thing she ask me was: "eh you got boyfriend liao ah?"
somewhat along the lines lah.
I was like: -.- "no."
LOL lah, what a question to ask when you see your friend from such a long time.
really long time never see her lah, since graduation from huayi.
we went to the japanese street to eat the RAMEN. :DDDDDD
My favouriteeee. ;D

then we went to buy my jeans.
one dark blue regular straight from levi strauss signature,
and one grey skinny from new future. :D
lorrene told me to buy a grey one. hahaha. :D
But nice uh, never tried grey one before. xD
hmm, then we walked around, buy bubble tea, go to watsons.
walked the whole jp to find a place to sit. LOL.

lorrene left early,
so my and yanlin wander around for awhile before heading home. :D

yesterday was really a good day. hahaha.
had a chat with julius and realise he's going for area 19's atc.
can see him. hahaha. :D
another one that I long time never see already. :D

People whom I really never see for a long time please call me out. HAHAHA.

Class Chalet~ :D

WAHAHA, class chalet was niceee. :D
can say it's the most crazy chalet I had. :D
Alright lets get started with my post.

Day 1, met up at pasir ris mrt.
got onto the wrong bus, alighted and walked. -.-
the day wasn't much fun lah, lets just jump to the night.

went to stock up on beverages and potato chips.
I was pushing the trolley and one of them said,
"wah, whole bunch of us stand here macham like you go shopping then we are your bodyguard."
LOL. -.-

Then we rented bicycles and rode to changi.

Ready to set off.

Mr Elyasa being the direction man.

The bunch of daredevils who went into OCH.
Weekiat, Amos, Nazrin and me stayed at the bustop to wait for them to comeback.
And guess what,
they tried to scare us by shouting, screaming and running "RUNNN!!" when they came back
bah, we didn't fall for that. instead we expected it. -.-
Oh, and on the way to changi, something happened.
It goes like this:
Sean: "Hey Li Er, look, there's an aeroplane."
Me: *Looks up* "Yea, I saw it already."
The next moment I knew, my bicycle went down a curb,
and BANG, I was on the concrete floor with my left knee scraped.
How classic. -.-
Later on whenever my classmates rode pass me they will be like:
"Eh Li Er, aeroplane aeroplane, look look,"
Bastardddd sia. T^T

Returned to chalet, played cards.
First was 'Muderer'.
Was damn funny,
we cursed and sweared at the 'police' when he didn't act when the muderer was on killing spree.
And some were plain obvious. HAHA.

Next is Indian Poker.
Each person has to draw a random card and put it on your forehead.
Can't look at the card, only others can see.
Then we will go one round adding beverages into a cup.
The 2 person with the lowest value have to drink up. 2 being the lowest, Aces being the highest.
Let the game begin. ;D

I left on the second day.

Went to watch Crows Zero II with yanchin and junhao.
was yanchin's birthday. :DD

I had to admit that Crows Zero II wasn't much of the plot.
More of actions and fighting.
I think it's still nice.
Crows Zero I was better tho. ;D

went out with chew today.

somehow, my head is very big. (yes, i know my head's big. -.-)
we went to buy my bag (^^) and walk walk.
hahaha.

YAY~!
I've got my bag. :D

Black Western Lawn.

Inside. :D

Bought Western Lawn cause I don't really need such a big bag.
Just a bag to use when going out.
To kind of replace my VERY bright orange bag.
I really like my orange bag, but it's damn tattered inside already. ):
maybe will carry it once in a blue moon. :D

alright, shall go pack some stuffs for chalet tomorrow. :D
